    Veterinary Assistant

Rebekah graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Affairs and a minor in Marine Biology. From a very young age, Rebekah has been passionate about the active protection and conservation of marine life. Before joining our practice, Rebekah worked as a Marine Fisheries Observer, where she collected biological catch data onboard commercial fishing boats for NOAA all over the Northeastern United States coast.

When she’s not dedicating her time to helping the patients at our clinic, Rebekah enjoys traveling, whale watching, and spending quality time with her four rescues: Sarabi- a sassy feline, Gus Gus- a curious chinchilla, Bellatrix- a mischevious rabbit, and Petrie- a tailless crested gecko.

Rebekah is expanding her skills and knowledge of veterinary medicine so that she may one day be able to transfer her experience to the marine field. To further this goal she attends North Shore Community College's veterinary technology program and anticipates becoming a CVT this year.
